About the Safari

A unique motorcycle experience

BMW Motorrad Nordic Safari is a unique, week-long motorcycle experience that takes you and your BMW motorcycle, across some of the best roads and sceneries that the Nordic countries has to offer.

The BMW Motorrad Nordic Safari will offer you a completely new route, in a new part of the Nordics, each year is suitable for all BMW Motorrad riders, regardless of your riding skills.

As to expect from BMW Motorrad, this is a premium tour where our team has put together the most exciting roads, scenic views, great hotels, good restaurants and highlights along the route.

The tour is led by several BMW Motorrad tourguides. We ride in small groups with different difficulty levels. Each day you will have the possibility to choose what level you would like to ride.

Route creators

The routes at BMW Motorrad Nordic Safari have been created by experienced riders who have been guiding thousands of fellow riders on all skill levels over decades.

Surprise highlights

During the week we have some surprises lined up for you. We won´t give away to much but it will be some special rides or happenings that will put a smile on your face for a long time!

Pre-Safari training

If you are new to gravel, have not been riding for a while or just want to freshen your skills, we also offer a full-day, pre-safari training on the Saturday before the event.

Pre-Safari bike inspection

Can be carried out at all Nordic BMW Motorrad dealers prior to the Safari. This inspection will ensure that your bike in good condition and safe to ride during the Safari. Your BMW Motorrad dealer can also help you choose the right tires and riding gear for the Safari!

Ride your own BMW or rent one

To take part in the BMW Motorrad Nordic Safari, you must ride a BMW motorcycle. If you don’t own a BMW, or just don´t want to ride your own during the safari, you can rent one.

Repair, recovery & luggage

Throughout the entire tour you will have full support from our team. We have well-kitted support vehicles that will come to your assistance should you have a problem. We also have luggage transport so you just leave your bag outside the reception in the morning. We will transport it for you to our next hotel so you can ride with minimal luggage for an even more fun experience!

Lunch & coffee 'en route'

Our adventure chef make sure you never go hungry. You get morning & afternoon coffee/snacks and warm lunch along the way, every day!

The 2021 Safari

SUITABLE FOR GS MODELS

The BMW Motorrad Nordic Safari 2021 will be a GS-version, suitable for all BMW GS models. It will take you from the salty west coast in Bohuslän Sweden, through beautiful Dalsland, the widespread forests of Värmland, around lake Siljan in Dalarna before it finishes in Östersund, Jämtland. A 1250km (approx.) mix of asphalt, gravel, forest roads and exciting challenges!
